Went for a lovely walk down the woods with Mattie, for those of you who don't know him - here he is!
It was lovely and the sun even made a brief appearance.
Just a brief word on last night's meal which was very nice. Susan and I had a great time and it was nice to be out and about. The only downside was when the waitress came and plonked the bill on the table and said that the table was required in five minutes! As you can imagine I was pretty shocked by this and we hadn't even had ice cream!! So we had to go to the pub which was a real hardship as you can imagine :-)

That's a blooming cheek! We're you made aware at the beginning of your meal that you were on a time limit? I hope they knocked something off the bill for you not being allowed to complete your meal.
ReplyDeleteWhen I called to make the booking the man didn't say anything about this. I thought the waitress was putting the sweet menu down not a bill so was quite surprised. No offer of any money off.
